We commit to design and present relevant ideas and learning opportunities in a well-thought-out sequence taught by the tested leaders and reflective practitioners.
We commit to providing accessible and useful online experiences and live interactions online or in person.
We commit to continually improving the project based on your input.
We commit to making this project available to participants of all races, genders, and denominational backgrounds and not let financial constraints be a barrier to highly committed learners and leaders.
We ask you to make the following commitments in terms of time, intelligence, money, and energy/enthusiasm.
Each day, read and whenever possible respond online to the daily reflection (10 minutes, 5 days a week).
Each week, engage with the module on your own and with your cohort (60 - 90 minutes per week).
Each intensive, choose and complete the projects that will most help you learn by doing (3 - 10 hours per intensive).
Each intensive, participate in four live online gatherings with your instructor or cohort coach (60-90 minutes per gathering).
At the beginning and end of the project, engage in self-assessment and project assessment (1-2 hours).
Convergence Leadership Project isn’t for you unless you are eager to invest your best thinking and curiosity in this learning experience. You’ll be challenged to rethink and reimagine what it means to be a Christian and a congregation in today’s world - a lofty challenge!
You’ll also need to intelligently plan your time in the intensive, knowing that if you put the investment in, you’ll reap real rewards.
We’ve learned that people invest their best time, intelligence, and energy in CLP when they also make a financial investment.
Individual
